I suspect that many of the issues being reported regarding guild status and Living Legacy information may stem from some confusion about how the EQPlayers update works.  This is our fault for not making this clear earlier, and for that I apologize.

In order for your EQPlayer data to be updated, you MUST have your EQPlayer Auto Update turned on.  Just issuing the /eqplayer command IS NOT sufficient to update your data.

To update your EQPlayer data you must:

   1. Turn ON EQPlayer Auto Update

        a. This can be found in the General tab in the options window (ALT-O)

   2. Issue the /eqplayer command from your chat window

   3. Turn OFF EQPlayer Auto Update (if you wish it to be off)

Again, I apologize if this information was not clearly stated before.  I admit that I didn't know this until just this morning.

NOTE: it will still take some time for EQPlayers to update your information after following the steps above, so please do not expect the information to change immediately after the update is done.  Please allow some time (24 hours for Living Legacy leader boards) for the update to complete.

Hmm, this worries me.
I've never had my toon show up right on eqplayers, at first it showed Fine Steel swords as earrings (so thought data corrupt), and now my character is totally invisible, even from my own control panel.
Does this mean I'm not going to get any updates if the eqplayers site can't see me?
Posted on the 'post here if toon broke' threads but still broken.

So what exactly does 'EQPlayer Auto Update' actually do?

Autoupdate will semi-regularly automatically update your character data in the EQPlayers Databases.

But it sounds like there's some sort of logic tied with the /eqplayersupdate command that makes it do a check for the AutoUpdate flag, and not do an update if AutoUpdate is turned off.

And for the record, while my inventory is correct, my bank and skills have been incorrect/empty for a long long long time now.

Neither of my toons shows any skills on the skills page.  Haven't since...December??

Find a level 80 player that has skills listed.  I haven't yet.  Haven't looked very hard, but any i've checked don't have em.

My:

Inventory, Spells, AA, Tradeskills, Normal Skills all do not work

my bank does however. I had a link to a pretty humerous AA page, but looks like it doesn't want to display. (It's all in code $$cAAname, beautiful)

I have noticed, I think without exception, that anytime a skill goes over the original skill cap they disappeared off of eq players. From what I have noticed this is true of any that I have seen, over old max and bye bye eqplayers skills.

The skills page has not worked since September of last year (see http://forums.station.sony.com/eq/p...topic_id=118989). What Yaddab said appears to be correct in that if you exceed the previous skill caps your skills no longer show up. SOE has been able to reproduce this problem at their end and it's in their queue to be fixed at some time in the near to distant future. Dennis (SOE's tech support guy) said he'd keep me informed on the progress of this issue. When I hear from him, I'll post over here to let others know something's happening.

I am also trying to iron down what their policy is regarding refunds due to this problem. As best I can tell right now is you'll need to contact them individually to get it. In a separate post (http://forums.station.sony.com/eq/posts/list.m?start=0&topic_id=125081) I have listed various resources available to you in assisting you getting your refund.

For me, the skills page was the sole reason I subscribed to EQPlayers. My guild role was to make sure everyone was up-to-date on their various skills (making sure everyone's alcohol tolerance was high enough to fight the various mobs that inject vodka straight into your bloodstream - http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/s....shtml?id=23509).
