so one of the first things i did after the update came out (after getting my warg of course) was to go check out these darklight woods i keep hearing about and i noticed something...

notice where the entrance to this zone is hmmmm now look at this

now i know we have figured that Kithicor is an Isle now but is it possible that not all of it floated off? this would be a pretty geographically correct spot for it me thinks.

Kithicor Forest is now Kithicor Island. Acording to that map, darklight Woods would be east of Nektulos forest.

No, that would make it to the east of Nektulos.
Besides, in EQ1 you headed due West to get to Kithicor.  Your EQoA is weak

You beat me by 1:03.  Next time, Cusa!  Next time!!

It's hardly my fault they don't know their own game anymore.

Actually, Nektulos forest is now West of the commonlands.

I imagine it may be an underground forest, which would be cool to see. With Neriak's true entrance now showing up in Nektulos forest (by the Thexian camp), Nektulos Forest's layout now makes sense in comparison to it's design in EQlive, with the location of the commonlands in correlation to Neriak. That means that Neriak spans the entire underground of Nektulos forest, with the Foreign Quarter connected to the Commonlands for other races to easily access, and the main entrance of Neriak in Nektulos Forest for tth Dark Elves themselves to directly access thier own city.

I know that Neriak's entrance in EQlive took you to the Foreign Quarter, but this way actually makes more sense. Why would the Dark Elves make only one entrance and have to deal with traveling through a sector where smelly ogres and trolls live, when they can just access thier own inner city directly through another route?

Or the zone line represents a tunnel that spans that entire length.  Certainly more convenient than those outrageous tunnels they had in EQ1 Kunark

In EQLive's Neriak, there were multiple doors or caves blocked by rocks (that appeared to have been moved in to place) that would appear to lead in to an exit.  They were generally facing the same direction as the zone out line.

What I found interesting about the Commanlands Tunnel - is it isn't being dug by the Thexians.  Freeport Militia Engineers and guards are in charge.  They are leading Groups of Laborers from Freeport to the commonlands tunnel entrance.  On the way there they make comments about the "scum" paying off their debt and that the "tunnel better be completed on time".

A short away where the Thexians and Orcs Used to have a secret night meeting a new group of NPC's have appeared.  One of them, A Solusek Ro fantic, stands in the center of a circle of fires.  She says, "Once the way is made clear we will obtain the Holy Shrine in your searing name", and "Blaze the way!  The lost land will be open to us again!".

They're using prisoners and criminals as the labor.

more specifically debtors. i think Old Lucan there kills any other type of prisoner.   So wow i think there are a lot of zones coming and as a loyal follower of Solusek i cant wait to see what The fire guys are talking about.  Yeah in Nektulos and Commonlands theres alot of interesting characters wandering  around  its so exciting because we keep finding more and more i have a feeling this is all gonna be in a really big plot revelation and we are gona have to go to these places for SoD3. Btw What happened at the meeting with the Orcs Vollux?
