My husband wanted me to create a cave for his lil ratonga and this is what I came up with for him. With a cave being so naturally dark the screenshots did not come out as well as I had hoped but most of it is captured. The window that naturally occurs as the regular part of the architecture in the FP house has been altered into an inset aquarium that my husband has STILL not went and quested for a fish for grrrr. Unfortunately the aquarium is one thing that did not come out very well in the screenies. SMILEY

This home can be viewed in person by visiting Cattnip at 1 Compassion Rd NFP on The Bazaar server.

The Entry

From the other side

The small aviary

The Library

Looking towards the bedroom and necessary.

Going upstairs to the loft portion

That concludes our tour, I hope you enjoyed the lil cave SMILEY

Yes, those are the oak bookshelves that I used as loft railing. The cedar ones look nice too. They look very similar to these but in a different shade of wood.

I've never thought much of those bookcases until I saw how you used them to such great affect! Nice home.

I agree on both counts.  I never really like them  before either but they look fantastic as dividers and railings.

I created a character to visit it, and wanted to complement you on creating that "Rat Cave". Even though the pictures are great, I would recommend to anyone who likes this style to visit it in person as it is astounding.

Wow.  You managed to make me completely lose perspective of where I was in a house - and that's not an easy thing to do.  I love this!!!

That is amazing! I never know so many oggokian rock tables and ferrite cupboards could be used in one place, and arranged so well. It completely looks like a cave. very unique!

Very clever, I love how you did this. It looks amazing and totally transforms that whole layout and house to be really unique!

Very nice! I especially liked your bath/fountain thing and the way you used the moonstone pool and the pillars to give it a somewhat enclosed feeling, very pretty SMILEY

I like the cave theme. I have been planning on a cave for my lil ratonga but just haven't had time, maybe now I will be more motivated SMILEY
