A recent change to the game has made it imposible to use a flanking attack on a mob while soloing, previously a scout class could move quick enough behind a mob to get a flanking attack off every few seconds. Today I tried and could no longer as the mob would face me with remarkable speed! Was this intentional? I have not read any patch notes or mentions of it anywhere.
Hrm...noticed that when I was playin my new brig the other day. The mob no longer lagged, but immediatly faced your direction whenever you moved.
i noticed this too...
is it a bug or was it intentional?
Are you talking about straight flanking attacks without the stun-move-attack manuever? Just curious. Because if you've been able to do that without the stuns all this time, I'm going to smack myself for never trying it... and now that window has passed..

yes. up until recently the mob would have a bit of delay before he moved towards you. now, for some reason, there is no delay and they follow you perfectly.
Yeah, used to be you could jump behind a mob, start casting a rear-attack (must be behind the mob to initiate a rear-attack) then jump back to where you where as the mob turns to look at your intermediate location, putting you behind the mob again (but back in the position you started in) and allowing the rear-attack to complete. It took about 1 second from the first jump to hitting the mob.
The delay on mobs auto-face was probably about 0.3-0.5 seconds.
It's a bit annoying that it has been removed, I now have to root/kite mobs on my assassin if I run out of stuns; I can't just out-manoeuvre the mob to finish it off.
This is a pretty big hit to assassin solo. Is there a reasoning for this after it being posible for so long?
Noticed that Cheap Shot is occasionally still allowing mobs to turn to face now also, making any back attacks very difficult to perform.
im having this issue also, crosses fingers that its no a intend fix :/

I noticed that on my troub while fighting giant turtles of all things..
I've seen it too, and assumed that mobs now have a chance to resist actions that can turn them around, (walk the plank), and or stun them in place, (cheap shot).
This is a huge hit to assassin soloing. Find myself constantly left with nothing to do but autoattack now. Cheap shot allows us to perform maybe 2 positionals every 20 seconds.

This is a huge hit to any class that uses positional attacks (even bruisers have them) and it serves no purpose whatsoever other than making soloing extremely lame. Trying to outmaneuver a mob in order to squeeze a flanking attack made soloing slightly entertaining, now it's a matter standing there taking hits and see who runs out of hitpoints first which is probably going to be the player (if scout)~.

Yes, they have that, too
Still not working, any word?!
