This Home belongs to Malikin. He lives in the LON Magical Manor in NFP on the Bazaar server. When he commissioned me to do his home he told me that he wanted a nautical theme, perhaps the house of a retired sea captain who had travelled the world and some of the rooms should display a bit of those travels. This is what I came up with for Malikin. I hope it is what he was looking for.

Thank you to Gneva for showing screenshots of her wonderful craftsman style fireplace. This is my version with a nautical twist for the entryway.

The fishing pole on the wall did not want to cooperate with me. I wanted to make it lean against the bench as if it had been placed there on the way back from a fishing trip. The pole had other ideas, and won our arguement.

Thank you for taking a moment to look at Malikin's Home. All comments and questions are welcomed

Such a beautiful house!  All the wood paneling really gives a feel of being inside a large yacht or ship.  I love so many details, but especially the shelf, bench and fishing rod by the entrance.

I like this one a LOT, Nefaria.  So many creative features -- I love that tree on the patio and the patio in general, and the sculptured, three-tiered plant in the blue pot, and all of the great features in the bathroom, and the woodwork.  What a lovely home for a retired sea captain!

Great job Nef!  You really have a talent for using those Wantia armoires for a wonderful effect. I would assume the owner is nothing but floored by what you've done with the place.

Thanks for the compliments guys

Eladia, I think the mermaid painting is a new lon painting. I was thrilled when the homeowner brought it in, just had a hard time deciding where to put it as it went so well with the nautical theme I was trying to achieve.

I love using those wantia armoires as they make such a nice building block, what i would give to have a bunch of those and the sathirian sarcos in a wide range of colors and textures to choose from.

Ohhh I like your fireplace better!!  I'll have to borrow that next time!  : )  I would never know how to make a decent kitchen if it weren't for you so I'm glad I could inspire.

ROFL, and I like YOUR fireplace better!

I am definitely my own worst critic. My poor husband gets hauled in constantly to tell me if something looks as bad as I think it does, or if it is actually ok looking.

I am glad my kitchen tutorial was of some use to people. Kitchens are a lot of fun to put together.

Fantastic job! I LOVE your use of the mermaid painting in the bar and the creative area rugs you made! Very nautical! The use of dark wood keep me thinking I was inside an old ship! Love it!

This place is FANTASTIC! I was looking around the forums for some inspiration for my guild hall. I was wondering how you got the center of the kitchen counters?

You've done a fantastic job of implementing your theme throughout the whole place.

The small touches are divine - the shelf with the hanging plants underneath, the three tiered potted plant, the aquarium inset into the wall behind the seating area.......I could go on and on.
