This home belongs to Thoughtful. It is located at 5 Freedom Road in South Freeport on The Bazaar server. Thoughtful wanted a medieval theme with small touches of evil for a necromancer. Thoughtful didn't want an evil spooky castle, so this is what I came up with. I went with the sandstone textures as it reminded me of a country manor, and I used alot of dark woods and earth tones to attempt to achieve the medieval look I was going for. I am hoping I hit the mark on the look and feel of the home.
Thanks for taking a peek! All questions and comments are welcomed.
Wow very beautiful as always! It feels pretty cozy downstairs.
LOVE the look you've pulled off here! Especially with the frames sunk into the walls. Fantastic job!
Your work astounds me every time Nefaria. The fountain is beautiful! But what really caught my eye is all the custom built seating. First the dual chairs, but then that sofa! VERY nice idea. I have a feeling we'll be seeing more of those soon. And then the barstools - who would have thought to cover up the pretty blue with that drab brown drum and come up wtih something so perfect fo the space?
Beautiful as always.
Gorgeous work, as usual I love the colours you've used throughout. The topiary's are awesome, especially the "tree". And the garden "fountain" is amazing -- is that a painting you've used as the background? it looks very 3-dimensional with the water coming out of it .
Excellent work as always! My favorite is the garden reflecting pool, it is beautiful! I'm working on a similar theme and hope to be posting it soon, I hope it turns out half as well as yours!

Thanks guys! It is a painting in the background of the fountain. I can't remember the name, but it is one of the no-trade claim paintings. The fountain was one of those glorious oops moments. I was shifting the fountain up judging placement and noticed that where it so happened to land it looked like it had become apart of the painting. I was so happy with it that I ditched the fountain I had in my head and created one around the "oops"
I love it !!
Beautiful and I think you got the theme perfect!
I really like the color scheme you used in this one. The fountain is beautiful.
I don't think it's medieval, so much as Tudor, in the style. Later period, lighter colors, roomier, better air flow It looks great!
I think you hit the balance perfectly, Nefaria! It has a 'castle' feel but not 'spooky castle'... fantastic work!

I totally agree, the tudor period used white washed walls more didn't it? It was more Jane Austin country manor in my head when I built it rather than castles.
I am an offical fan of your work--this house is beautiful!
The theme is perfect for it -- brillant!
