This home belongs to Simii. It can be viewed at 4 Bayle Court in South Qeynos on the Bazaar server. Simii wanted something "whimsical and fun" I started thinking about Shakespear's Midsummer's Night Dream and came up with this. Hopefully I hit the whimsical note, I wasn't real sure about how this one turned out. Can't decide whether to keep it the way it is, or box it and try again. The attic I turned into a planetarium.
Thanks for taking a peek! All comments and questions welcomed.
Nefaria - I LIKE IT !!!! The Garden in the entrance is wonderful! I think long time about similar way to build for my twink. (Shry, my English is not the best, not my mother-tongue)
great job !!!!
The entrance is VERY whimsical and DOES remind me of A Midsummer's Night Dream! I LOVE the porch swing! Pearl lamp poles make great chains!!!!
I may not post often but I absolutely LOVE all of your works and this one is just as wonderful as the rest.

Another lovely work Nef - you are amazing.
And I like the way the house looks.. very woodsy.
Very pretty and I think you achieved whimsy. There are so many things I like in the front room, especially how you incorporated the sales crates to fit them into the theme. That screenshot with the bluish glow (moonlight?) and the fireflies is perfect.
Oooh, Nefaria! I want to take a book and a cup of coffee and curl up under one of those canopies in this garden. Whimsy is what I love, and somehow you do manage to take things that don't appear to fit at first glance and somehow...bring harmony. Wish I could figure out how to implement those Wantia beds into a garden but meh...perhaps in time!
As usual, I pull many more creative ideas from your work. Thanks for being such an inspiration to new designers, and supporting us...it means more than you can know.

Nef your talent continues to awe and inspire me...ty for this lovely showing
The garden is beautiful. It's like walking right into the woods.
I'm just courious, did you not do the other rooms in the house?
This is a really wonderful house perfect for a fae or druid, or both. I really like the bedroom loft area, can't wait to get that bed myself one day, if I could just stick to one character.
Well, it's official... I'm saving my pennies to pay for a server transfer so you can come over here to BB and design my house (and I'll pay for you to transfer back) ! That garden is amazing!
Nice work Nef. I'm a fan!! And I've even tried to copy some of your work . Since you do work in theme, maybe you and I can collaborate on an idea I have sometime, hehe . I'll PM you later!
Lovely work, as usual I particularly like the icy star globe room - the chandelier looks very cool hanging through the blue rug. And how on earth did you scrounge up so many of those quested wantia lamps for the stairs?! They look great sunken into the steps like that, but I can't imagine levelling up alts just to steal their lamps, lol.
*gets on her soapboax*
As an aside (and I apologize to Nefaria for finally commenting in her thread), I'd like to point out that the purpose of this forum is for sharing pictures of houses/guildhalls, no matter whether beginners or experienced decorators. EVERY SINGLE house shared here has something new and unique, just as they ALL repeat common themes and re-use some very attractive styles/designs. Personally I try to post something positive about any house, especially about unique or interesting things that attract my attention. I know how disheartening it can be to post pictures and only a couple of people (or no one!) posts, making you feel like what you did was not good enough. Everyone can improve, and I think we all do every time we decorate a new house. Sometimes things go together really well, sometimes not so good, but as my mother always told me -- if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.
That doesn't mean we can't give creative criticizm -- I am always happy to hear if someone has an idea that might make something intersting into something really great. But just writing something off as pointless because its "been done" is unfair and inappropriate for this forum. If you see something that could be improved, I'm sure we'd all love to hear a specific idea. But this is not an art museum and we are not all professional artists/designers. Anyone who has had the courage to share their work here should be encouraged by praise of the good things they have done, and perhaps occasional pointers on how something might have worked a bit better. Lord knows how many times a friend has made a simple suggestion that totally blew me away and had me working madly for hours on some new idea .
Anyways, lovely work Nefaria! *steps down*
Hear hear. I too make it a point to post possitive comments when I post. Fact is, even if a home may not be to your personal taste there is always something unique, creative or interesting about it. The group here is very creative and inspiring and no effort is worthless. if you're proud of what you've accomplished, we really do want to see it and we will enjoy the experience. Providing help is great when it's asked for. Otherwise the existence of this forum alone is about gathering ideas, finding ways to improve on something you've done through the inspiration provided by others.
To say something has been done before and therefor should not be done again is missing the point. What is that saying about dramas, stories? There are only 7 plots in the world and every story is some version of recycling among those 7? Where would we bee if that kept everyone from telling any new stories!
