Finally!!! I know you've all been waiting for the announcement for months now!
I've got something that I can tell you, at last.
Currently, however, I can tell you that we are planning to merge Nagafen and Venekor after Fan Faire. There are still a lot of logistics and code issues to work out, as well as some other details. As we get these resolved and get a hard date for you, we'll announce more.

When exactly is fan fair?
Also whats the policy on names? Who gets senority?

But yeah, what's the policy on names? I think all my chars are safe, but know a couple duplicates a-coming
Fan Faire is the end of June. The 25th through the 28th.
The names are going to be one of the details that we've yet to work out. We'll post it when we get all the info from code on what they need to do for it.

Last time on server merger, whoever had the name first (by date), won.
Actually, it was done by whoever had the most play time had senority.
Not all, I had to petition and then they looked at playtime.
Will this be a straight merger, or will players have the option to transfer to PvE servers as well?

Highly likely that no, this will not be allowed. PvP to PvE server transfers aren't something that we allow, the code on the characters vary too widely.

So basically those people who don't want to play on Nagafen but don't want to re-roll characters elsewhere have to quit?
