This is from the patch notes. Multi-core CPU Support: If you have a Multi-core CPU you no longer have to manually set their processor affinity! EverQuest will automatically assign itself to an available core. If you run multiple copies of the client, each new copy running will assign itself to the next available core. Those interested in customizing which core or cores EverQuest clients run on, check the forums. I may be blind but I don't see anything in the forums about this. I have a dual core processor and had to download the affinity tool. Will I need to do anything with that? Or do I just log in as usual and both accounts will automatically go to a different core? What causes a core to be deemed "available" by EQ? When I box, nothing else is done on this PC. So I would think that I want each instance running on a separate core. If I am mistaken, please enlighten me. I had no idea this was being worked but this became the most exciting feature to be included in this patch for me. Thanks for working on this and hopefully it will be a smooth transition.
